Cook time: 1 min

Total time: 6 min

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup kale (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1½ cups coconut water (refrigerated)
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 banana (sliced)
Prep/cooking instructions:
  1. Start by adding the kale and chia seeds to your blender. Add the coconut water. Blend mixture together for a few seconds.
  2. Add blueberries, pineapple, and banana. Blend for 30-60 seconds or until everything is completely blended.
  3. Serve in a tall glass and enjoy!

Additional tips:

  • If you want a sweeter flavor, substitute the banana for a cup of raspberries or blackberries
  • You can use black or white chia seeds
  • You can also make the smoothie sweeter if you replace the coconut water with pomegranate juice—it’s great either way!
